The PlayAwale mascot introduces the ways to play with others

Three ways to play against someone rather than against me.

All three are open: on the same screen, online, or in a tournament.

Playing oware with two players

Oware (awalé, a game of the mancala family) is played by two: each player in turn sows the seeds from their six pits and tries to capture their opponent's. On PlayAwale you can play a friend on the same device — face to face around a tablet or phone laid between you, or side by side at a computer — or play online, each on your own screen, by sharing a six-character code. No account is needed, and every finished game is saved.
